We all know: there are two sides to every story.
This week in worship, we’re going to hear the two sides of that most famous story of Jesus, The Parable of the Prodigal Son.
Ultimately, it’s up to us to decide which side is true.

‘Movement of Love’ Lent and Easter 2021 at Hillside and Sanctuary

7:00 pm – ART Circle and Reflections 
Using the reflection questions from the ‘Movement of Love’ Lenten Devotional (from Luke) and additional ART images depicting these texts. Come for contemplative prayer, taize music and “ARTChurch” reflection on God’s movement. Here on Zoom

Fourth Sunday Stories Series
Beginning Today -- Feb. 28 at 5 pm on Zoom

Each 4th Sunday we’ll be reading a favorite story, offering some fun optional activities for the kids, then reading a short poem for the adults. 

In honor of Black History Month, we are celebrating Sanctuary/Hillside’s ongoing commitment to raising anti-racist kiddos, so grab some supper, your favorite stuffed rhino, and settle in for a short program featuring:  

“Storytime with Uncle Aaron,” starring the soothing & dulcet tones of Aaron Olapade reading The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. 

A non-competitive coloring competition with these wonderful coloring pages lifting up the lives and work of Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes, and Paul Laurence Dunbar with friend of Sanctuary UCC Ivy Tillman (maybe you’ll even get an “Extremely Ridiculous Award” from student minister John Sinclair). ADULT COLORERS WELCOME!!!!
