DMS PLAZA CONSTRUCTION

Starting next week, OCSA students will notice construction fencing installed in The Callero Family Foundation Plaza inside the Dance, Music, and Science (DMS) Center as we begin facility improvements. These improvements will enhance the performance venue for our student performances for years to come and will have little to no impact on our instructional program. Thank you for your patience as we complete these exciting upgrades!

LCAP AMENDMENT

Every year, OCSA constructs a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP). The LCAP establishes schoolwide goals for the year and details how state funds are allocated in accomplishing those goals. In constructing the LCAP, OCSA encourages input from all community stakeholders, students, staff, and parents. The LCAP is certified by OCSA Board of Trustees every year in June. Please click here to view our 2022-2023 LCAP.

As a result of the increasing number of Career Technical Education (CTE) opportunities that OCSA students and teachers are currently participating in, OCSA is planning to amend the approved LCAP to accurately reflect these areas within the school. Please click here to read the proposed amendment. With this adjustment, OCSA will have additional opportunities to seek government grant funding for equipment used in conservatory programs.

The OCSA Board of Trustees will consider this amendment at their monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 28. If you have any questions or feedback regarding the proposal, please email ocsa.administration@ocsarts.net prior to next Wednesday.
