Work under monopoly capitalism has experienced significant transformation that has concentrated greater control at the top of the corporate ladder, not for efficiency sake or the public good, but to guarantee greater capital for the bourgeois class. Hence work is organized in a way that negatively impacts workers and ultimately worker productivity. Harry Braverman and Richard Edwards delve into these matters from a radical perspective that challenges the traditional view. This article comparatively analyzes their theory and provides my personal reflection and work experience on the matter .
