Winter Weather Procedures

If winter weather or other emergency has made it unsafe for students and staff members to report to school/work, Englewood Schools will switch to ROLLING REMOTE LEARNING. Due to the fact that students have devices/learning materials at home and in an effort to maximize instructional minutes for the benefit of our students, schools will not be closed/canceled. Notification about the change to Rolling Remote will occur very early in the morning, normally before 6:00 a.m. Students and staff members will be expected to participate in classes via Zoom, Google Classroom and Seesaw.

In case of an emergency or severe weather conditions, Englewood Schools will announce schedule changes via our website, phone calls, emails, television news outlets, Facebook, and Twitter

Please make sure your contact information is current via Infinite Campus.

Good News Stories
First Graduate at Colorado's Finest
On Thursday, October 8, Colorado's Finest High School of Choice celebrated its first graduate of the school year! Because students at Colorado's Finest work at their own pace, they can complete their credits throughout the school year. As is the tradition at Finest, the graduate did a graduation walk so that teachers and students at Finest could congratulate him. This year, the celebration was a bit different with the walk being through the courtyard and many participants watching via Zoom. The celebration was still very exciting and well-deserved! Congratulations to Sam Hubbard!
New Stadium Ribbon Cutting
On Friday, October 8, a small group of student athletes and staff members gathered to celebrate the completion of the new stadium at Englewood High School with a small ribbon cutting ceremony. We hope to have a bigger celebration later to coincide with the potential renaming of the stadium.
October is National
Principals Month
Please take a moment to celebrate our principals! October is National Principals Month. Through visionary leadership and tireless pursuit of success for each student, principals guide and support their schools in ways large and small every day. And as we face new challenges presented by COVID-19, our principals continue to come through when it matters most! Thank you, Principals!
