THANK YOU to the 766 Homeowners who

Responded to the Pool and Spa Heating Survey.

766, which is 53.9% of the 1422 PGA WEST Residential Association members responded to our Pool and Spa Heating Survey, which was provided to the owners on two occasions over the past couple of months. This significant number of owners who indicated their preference regarding the upcoming season of pool and spa heating provided the Board with an excellent guide when setting the pool and spa heating schedule.

The survey results are as follows:

34.34% of the respondents opted in favor Option 1

Heat 50% of the Pools (27) rotating by month, January through May, and October through December, and Heat all 54 spas all Year

49.22% of the respondents opted in favor of Option 2

Heat 33.3% of the Pools (18) January through May, and October through December, and Heat all 54 spas all Year

9.4% of the respondents opted in favor of Option 3

Heat 50% of the Pools (rotating schedule) October, April and May, Heat all 54 Pools November through March, and Heat all 54 Spas all year

4.05% of the respondents opted in favor of Option 4

Heat all 54 Pools October through May, Heat all 54 Spas all Year

The PGA WEST Residential Association Board of Directors reviewed the Pool and Spa Survey results at the August 18, 2022 Board Meeting. Based primarily on the Pool and Spa Heating Survey, the Board voted unanimously in favor of Option 2. This schedule will allow for each pool to be heated every third month and all spas will be heated all year.

Beginning October 2022, 18 pools and 54 spas being heated. The following month 18 different pools and 54 spas will be heated. The subsequent month the last 18 pools and 54 spas being heated. This rotation will continue throughout the heating season, from October 2022 through May 2023.
