Starting Monday, November 29, 2021, food and drinks will be allowed for internal, in-person meetings including the DEM Seminar Series and lab meetings. These are the key points:
- This only applies to DEM internal meetings – not to external events from groups outside of the Division.
- Food and drink will not be provided – there will be no catered meals until UCSF policies are revised.
- Meeting participants must remain 6’ apart and be masked when not consuming food or drink.
- Names of in-person meeting attendees must be maintained in the case contact tracing becomes necessary.
Each DEM PI may choose to allow food and drink during meetings at their discretion. The conference room has been rearranged to a classroom style layout to maximize spacing and orient participants to the same direction during a meeting.
