Stay Connected - COVID-19
Dear TSC Family & Friends,

I hope you are finding these communications, as well as our Facebook posts helpful. And if you attended a Senior Center or Outreach program earlier this year, we are attempting to connect with you via an old fashioned telephone call. Thus far, in one week, we have called 561 of our regular, registered participants. If you would like a phone call, and haven’t received one yet, just reply back to this email and we’ll be sure you are on our list.

I know it’s very difficult, but I want to insist that you all stay home as much as possible. Don’t go to gatherings of more than 10 people. Keep 6 feet away from people you don’t know. Our TSC Team is working hard to help you remember you are not in this alone. The better we self-isolate, the sooner things will get back to normal, and we can welcome you back.

While we are closed at least through April 15, we are using this time to explore offering some classes and activities on line and on Facebook Live. Stay tuned. We will also be providing a video training on how to access these programs and other useful resources. So when we are on the other side of COVID-19 – you will have more options to participate in programs and be even more tech savvy.

I want to let you know that staff is beginning to work more and more from home. We will only be coming to the Center to check the building, and insure we have what we need to stay connected with you. If you call the main number, 850-891-4000, it will be forwarded to a staff member’s phone from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Stay well and take care,
The Tallahassee Senior Center & Foundation Team
