Blessing the Boats
may the tide
that is entering even now
the lip of our understanding
carry you out
beyond the face of fear
may you kiss
the wind then turn from it
certain that it will
love your back may you
open your eyes to water
water waving forever
and may you in your innocence
sail through this to that

Top 10 Things to Know About the Return to In-Person Learning
- There will be a required, daily health screening.
- Students will be required to wear a mask.
- All students will confirm their required, daily health screening once they arrive at school.
- There are two in-person cohorts, A and B, and Cohort C is 100% remote. (Because we are a small school, TCS has only one in-person cohort.)

- Students will have their own materials for daily use and items will not be shared.
- Meals won't be eaten at school except for in unique circumstances.
- Hand washing will be prioritized throughout the day including but not limited to on arrival, after recess, and after using the restroom.
- Daily cleaning of common areas will be done in compliance with CDC and Public Health recommendations.

2021 Leaders of Today Competition
The 2021 Leaders of Today competition is centered on exploring the evolution of youth perspectives during the pandemic. We will be accepting 1–2 minute creative video submissions or 500-word writing pieces in response to the following prompt:
Ever since we can remember, adults have been asking us, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” This leaves the impression that we don’t have the ability to create change now. So let’s ask ourselves, “What is one specific change you want to enact in your category as a Leader of Today? Why?"
Participants may respond to the prompt within the context of one of the following three categories (our judges strongly encourage students to choose the category that they are most passionate about):
- Civic Leadership
- Community Engagement
- Innovation and Technology
