"Happiness is a direction, not a place."

-- Sidney J. Harris
Word is that our man Jeremy might be back at next week & has 2 "Get To Know Me" segments practically in the can!
Seminary was hopping this week and kept Tammy busy taking pictures-- everything from a little poochie therapy to beer(less) pong to apparently objectifying city workers doing heavy labor in the parking lot . . .

"I know everybody says money can't buy happiness,
But it could buy me a boat"

-- Chris Janson

Usual Excuses & Apologies:

My apologies for the boat & happiness tropes this week. But, life is short and maybe boats are my thing not yours-- you need to be taking steps to do your thing this spring.

If you are like me and boats ARE your thing too, the good people at All Ports Yacht Club out of Venetian Marina have invited CLI for a boat ride on their members boats and to join them afterward for a picnic lunch on Friday, June 18th. All Ports has been taking care of us since before me. It's a fun day and we're grateful for the opportunity. We'll start planning how to make this happen in May. Things are a little different this year and I suspect that our group will about half of years prior.

Do not panic if this opportunity doesn't happen for you this year. But do make sure that we know how interested you were and we'll figure out how to get you on the water.
One other thing that I really like to do (year-round} is listen to audiobooks. If you have a smart phone, you can download them for free using a library app. If you don't use a smart-phone (probably way healthier for you anyway)-- you can still go to the physical library and get them on CD. I've always loved to read, but the ability to listen to a book when you are doing any task that doesn't require that you be especially mindful, really has the potential to make any such chore more enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

Anyway, have a good week. Spend some time outside. Often we make exercise too hard by making it something that you have to go somewhere and do something moderately uncomfortable. However-- a lot of new research has really shown that just keeping yourself physically moving all day has huge benefits. Have a great week (and wash your hands).

CLI made the Norwalk online paper over the last few weeks. First, for raising $1000 that we are going to donate to the accessible bathrooms at McGuan Park and then again because the Norwalk Firefighters donated $500 to CLI's account to make Kenilee Lanes completely accessible. You can find links to both stories on our website: CLIsupports.com.
The truth is you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride,
and nothing is guaranteed.

Would you like to join CLI for some fun virtual activities?
It's a bunch of loud fun!
Firelands Local LLC Update:
James Johnson
419-921-6400
I missed my deadline the week before so I am updating for the last 2 weeks.

A while back I mentioned that we had been bombarded with multiple production orders, all with similar deadlines. I am very proud to say that all work was done ahead of schedule. Thank you to all the folks that work production. You continue to do great work.

We are also moving right along with the "kick James to the curb" grant. We are submitting the first deliverable that is required this week.

Pictures: the trees are in front of Norwalk furniture.
The sunrise was from last Monday. If you remember, it was a very dreary and ovzxercast day. This was above the Willard res. It was as if the clouds opened up enough to know the sun was there.

Production:
Over the last 2 weeks we have completed over 100,000 units and shredded 23,000 pounds.

Have a great week.
