SUBJECT:
COVID-19: Governor’s Stay-at-Home Order
Dear Bengals,
Less than an hour ago, Governor Brad Little issued an executive order directing all residents to immediately heed current State of Idaho public health directives and stay home. Everyone is asked to stay at home, except to receive essential services, such as buying groceries and receiving medical care. You may leave home to exercise but you need to remain 6 feet away from others. The Governor’s stay-at-home order is effective immediately and lasts 21 days.
This executive order does not have an impact on classes resuming using distance-based instruction on Monday, March 30. The University is still open for business, however, all services will be provided by appointment or remote delivery.
This transition is happening quickly and we are here to help you. Your patience, understanding, and flexibility during this fast-changing situation are appreciated. We have prepared a
list of tips and resources
to help you transition to distance-based instruction. In the coming days and weeks, you may encounter challenges and obstacles. We are here to support you.
