Distance Learning at Serra Extended
Due to the ongoing health crisis, the distance learning program will be extended. We received information today from the Archdiocese of San Francisco that requires closure through April 20. However, Serra fully anticipates this time frame to be extended through May 1 in line with the extension announced earlier today by the
six Bay Area counties governing public schools. We will confirm this extension in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your patience as we adjust to this evolving situation.

Attendance Policy in Effect During Closure
Please remember to call your son in if he is sick and will be unable to attend remote classes on a particular day. All absences must be communicated by 7:30 a.m.
Please email
attendance@serrahs.com
or call 650-345-8207. Voicemails will be retrieved. Unless excused, all students are expected to complete all activities and assignments that are designed for each day a particular class is in session and by the deadline established by each teacher.

Fund A Dream Fundraiser still going strong
Thank you to all of our supporters who saw the imminent need to raise funds for our tuition assistance program through Fund a Dream. Even though we had to cancel our actual gathering, the community came together to support this important mission.
Fund a Dream is more than a social event, it is a fundraiser dedicated solely to tuition assistance for Padres who would like to attend Serra but do not have the money to do so. Over the course of 15 years, the Serra community has raised $5 million in this effort. To date, this year, we have collectively raised nearly $375,000.
We are so grateful for your generosity, especially during these times of economic uncertainty.
This challenging situation only underscores our need to continue to provide this opportunity for future and current Padres.
We believe the need is now more than ever. We need to support the young men who aspire to be formed in a community of faith who will go forward to make a difference in the world - Now more than ever.
We are deeply grateful for your support - Now more than ever!
