Message to Our Clients
The global COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all our families, our businesses, and our way of life. During these unprecedented times we'd like to reaffirm our commitment to your business and the entire Northeastern Pennsylvania community.

While our physical location is closed, our staff is working from home and ready to serve your business. Specifically, our International Business Program, the Pennsylvania Office of International Business Development, and the Pennsylvania Authorized Trade Representatives are still open for your inquiries.

While travel bans, trade show cancellations, and quarantines are not ideal for international business development, if your business has the luxury, we encourage you to take some time to plan and strategize for future international growth - research new markets, analyze trade shows, identify new potential partners, check-in with current customers, and simply brainstorm ideas for new business opportunities.

Pennsylvania's Authorized Trade Representatives are ready to help you research and strategize your international business growth. Please consider engaging the Trade Representatives in all your market development activity, especially now as we all navigate these uncertain times.

All of Pennsylvania's international trade offices are available for conference calls. Locally, we are continuing to offer training via webinar and individual client counseling by phone or online meeting. The entire Pennsylvania Export Network is still working and committed to serving you and your business.

As a reminder, the Global Access Program (GAP) grant is also available to help internationalize your business. GAP funds can be used for more than just international travel and trade shows. Funds can also be used for website internationalization, international compliance testing, and fees for federal services that directly support exporting.

Finally, the NEPA Alliance Finance Team has been sending regular updates pertaining to federal, state, and local resources regarding emergency funding. That information, along with other local data and links, is available at our NEPA Coronavirus HUB Site. There are also many important state resources online including:
Of course, don't forget to check with your local Chamber of Commerce as well.

Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or simply to check-in. Again, we are here to support you as best as possible during these difficult times. We are all in this together! Please stay safe and healthy. We are thinking of you, your families, and your businesses.
