CALL FOR ENTRIES
PIASC LOCAL PRINT COMPETITION
DEADLINE:
Friday, March 5th, 4:00PM
|
|
2020 has been the year of turmoil from COVID-19 to politics. However, we as the printing industry ( an essential business in the state of California) continues to survive. 2021 is the year we need to shine! This is why, Printing Industries Association, Inc. of Southern California is excited to kick off the "Call for Entries" to our local printing competition, the Print Excellence Awards! Each year, the competition awards the best combinations of technology and craftsmanship within Southern California's dynamic printing, imaging, and finishing community.
For the last 17 years, we have recognized thousands of printers and suppliers for their award-winning projects. Past winners have found that winning a Print Excellence Award can be a powerful marketing tool in helping grow their business and boost their employee morale. Which piece will stop the judges in their tracks? Who will be honored as Best of Show? Who will win the “They Said It Couldn’t Be Done” award? Receiving an award in one of the largest, most prestigious graphic communication competitions in the United States tells your customers and prospects that your company produces some of the finest work available in our field. To be a part of this powerful promotional tool for your business, you first have to enter! Choose your top-quality printed samples and start submitting them to the 2020-2021 Print Excellence Awards.
We look forward to seeing those award-winning pieces no later than Friday, March 5, 2021.
Sincerely,
Janet Green

Clubhouse App for Business: What Marketers Need to Know
|
|
Wondering if the Clubhouse app could benefit your business? Curious how Clubhouse works for marketing?
In this article, you’ll learn why businesses should consider being active on Clubhouse and discover what marketers should know about the app. You’ll find out how content discovery works on Clubhouse and how clubs work. You’ll also get tips to grow a following on Clubhouse.
Why Clubhouse Matters for Businesses and Marketers
Clubhouse delivers a social experience very similar to an audio-only virtual event on a massive scale. There are currently approximately 1 million users on Clubhouse, and at any given time, there are a few thousand rooms where people from around the world are holding conversations about different industries, professions, and interests.
The voice-only constraint is similar to podcasts, which are played on demand, but the ephemeral nature of Clubhouse’s content plays on FOMO (fear of missing out). The conversations happen live and aren’t recorded for playback. If you’re not in the room, you miss what’s happening. This means people are spending a lot of time on the app, anticipating and looking for conversations about topics they’re interested in—whether to listen or share from the stage.
If you’re a marketer or business owner, this presents an amazing opportunity to establish yourself or the brand you work with as a go-to resource and promote products, services, or events.
