Concord Reads Aloud Continues
The Concord Free Public Library launched #ConcordReads Aloud program on May 17, 2020. It invites the whole community to come together and enjoy the pleasure of listening to different members of our community read a book.

Every evening at 5:00 p.m. on the library's Facebook page, a surprise guest reads a chapter from The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy. Written by Jeanne Birdsall, this book was inspired by Louisa May Alcott's  Little Women . It tells the story of four sisters and their friendships and adventures with a local boy while vacationing in the Berkshire Mountains.
