Caltrain Electrification Notice: Encinal Ave and Oak Grove Ave Railroad Crossing Closures
Caltrain will be performing foundation installation work that will require temporary railroad crossing closures in Menlo Park.

Encinal Avenue Crossing Closure
  • The Encinal Avenue railroad crossing will be closed to vehicle and bicycle traffic from 7:45 pm on June 22 to 5:30 am on June 23.
  • Directional signs will direct vehicle and bicycle traffic to use Glenwood Avenue as a detour on the night of the closure. The crosswalks on the north and south side of Encinal Avenue will remain open for pedestrian traffic during construction.

Oak Grove Avenue Crossing Closure
  • The Oak Grove Avenue railroad crossing will be closed to vehicle and bicycle traffic from 7:45 pm on June 22 to 5:30 am on June 23.
  • Directional signs will direct vehicle and bicycle traffic to use Glenwood Avenue as a detour on the night of the closure. The crosswalks on the north and south side of Oak Grove Avenue will remain open for pedestrian traffic during construction.

The temporary closures are required due to construction equipment and crews entering and exiting the Caltrain right-of-way. Work will consist of excavation, placement of rebar, concrete fill, electrical grounding, and the installation of foundations. Returns to Menlo Park!
The best of Off the Grid’s mobile food creators are headed back to Menlo Park every Wednesday from 5 to 9 pm.

In partnership with the City of Menlo Park and Caltrain, Off the Grid: Menlo Park offers a relaxing and delicious night out for the whole family with a delicious rotating selection of food trucks to choose from.

The next Off the Grid event is tomorrow, June 23 from 5 to 9 pm at the Caltrain parking lot next to Ravenswood Avenue.

To Celebrate the Start of Summer!
As we celebrate the official start of summer, Menlowe Ballet wants to brighten your day with a favorite ballet from their 2016 repertory season, Val Caniparoli’s “repeat after me”. Caniparoli’s versatility has made him one of the most sought-after choreographers in the United States and abroad. While he is most closely associated with San Francisco Ballet, his home for more than 43 years, as both dancer and former resident choreographer, he has contributed to the repertoires of more than 50 companies including Pacific Northwest Ballet, Boston Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, and Finnish National Ballet.
