Be the hands of Jesus in the classroom
Christ Church has been blessed for many years to partner with Henry Marsh Elementary School through Communities in Schools. If you would like to serve at HMES as a classroom assistant, reading buddy, or tutor, please make plans to attend a brief training. This type of volunteerism is so rewarding and an excellent way to be the heart and hands of Jesus. Gather up all those unused clothes, toys, and kids' gear and register for the Children's Consignment Sale and Missions Fundraiser. With one of the highest percentages offered to consignors in the area, Christ Church is THE place to sell gently-loved children’s clothing, toys and gear. Taking care of family members? Get some support
Families provide so many blessings and few challenges, too. Everyone who is taking care of children, siblings, parents, or others can use support. The Family Care Group can help! Gather via Zoom on Sunday, August 14 at 1 PM. | Email Michael Compton to be added to the Group in Realm for updates and meeting links.
God of change and transition, we ask for your blessing as we move toward the call for a new rector.
Help us stay faithful and steadfast during this time of change – committing ourselves to prayer, Bible study, and regular attendance in worship. Please enable the discernment committee to offer its best God-given gifts of wisdom, compassion, compromise, and deep faith as we discern the best choice to lead our church. We thank you, Lord, for blessing this work in your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
