Blood Drive in Honor of Jack Shockley: Dec. 4-5
|
Jack Shockley, BCHS Class of 2014, was the victim of a violent murder on August 12, 2020. Though Jack is one of our own, a parish member, a classmate, a co-worker and a friend, he is just one example of the violence that is happening in Indianapolis this year.
There is a severe shortage in our blood supply, part of which can be attributed to violence in our city. Help us mitigate the unwarranted loss of life by ensuring that we have the blood supply to help the victims of this senseless violence. Donate a pint of your blood so that others can live through the Jack Shockley Warriors for Peace Memorial Blood Drive. Please click the dates below to sign up.
Masks required for ALL Donors. Please bring photo ID, eat and hydrate. For donation and eligibility questions, call 317-916-5150.

In connection with this year’s Jack Shockley Warriors for Peace Memorial Blood Drive, the group is collecting new/gently used children’s books to support “Christmas With a Purpose,” a program run by Purpose 4 My Pain, an organization that supports those personally affected by gun violence. The books will be distributed to single parents/grandparents left to raise children/grandchildren due to gun violence.
Place your donated books in the blue and white box outside of Campus Ministry until December 9. Thank you for your support. Please pray for an end to violence in our city and all over the world.
