STRONG in Science!

Our 7th & 8th grade students recently created these amazing "One-Pagers" to present in Science class. The topics included Structure of Viruses, Viruses and the World, Structure of Bacteria, Bacteria Life Functions, Bacteria and the World, Bacteria and Disease, The structure of Fungi, and Types of Fungi. As you can see, the students did an excellent job!

Toy Drive

Thursday, December 9th

Our WCA Basketball Hawks will play a home game against Liberty Prep on Dec 9th at 4 pm. In the spirit of the season, invite all families who attend the game to donate one or more unwrapped, new toy(s). The toys will be donated to the Union County Christmas Bureau.

Come support your Hawks and help provide Christmas joy to a Union County child!

If you are unable to attend the game and would like to support this cause, please drop your unwrapped gift off in carpool on the morning of December 9.

Winter STEAM Day & Family Event!

Thursday, December 16th

All is Calm...All is Bright. Our Winter STEAM Day will be a day of reflection and remembering the night Jesus was born. Could it be that we will even hear the soft flutter of angels’ wings? During school, students will enjoy Christmas themed class activities and a special art project.

A Winter Christmas Afternoon Event!

Thursday, December 16th at 1:15pm

WCA families will fellowship together by singing Christmas carols. Plan to join the WCA students and staff, WCA PTF, and Soule’ Coffee Truck for some warm cocoa and Christmas caroling. WCA families may arrive and set up on the backfield at 1:15pm following preschool dismissal. Parents may order hot drinks prior to the event. The coffee truck will remain open during the Christmas caroling. The PTF will be providing hot cocoa and a treat for the WCA students. The event and dismissal will be from 2:45-3:00pm.

Celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

at Weddington UMC on Friday, December 24th!

WUMC invites you to join us for Christmas Eve worship in-person or online for our services at 3:00 (Sanctuary), 5:00 (outdoors), 6:00 (Monroe Campus), 7:30 (outdoors), 11:00 p.m. (Sanctuary), and online. Our outdoor services behind the Family Life Center will feature a live nativity! For detailed information, please visit the website or church app.

ACSI Parent Survey!

WCA is in the process of preparing for an Association of Christian School International (ACSI) accreditation visit in the Fall of 2022, and we need your help. We are asking that you take a parent survey to provide feedback.
