Pope announces extraordinary Urbi et Orbi blessing
At the Angelus on Sunday, March 22nd, Pope Francis invited all Christians to join together in praying the Our Father as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, all are urged to join in prayer this coming Wednesday, March 25th, at 7 AM local time (12:00 Noon Rome time). Parish Support During the Coronavirus Pandemic
With the suspension of public Masses and social distancing in place to support community efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, a reality our parishes face is that basic operational expenses are addressed through active participation in offertory giving. The intent is for our parishes to continue serving our communities through this time, and therefore support is not just appreciated, it is vital to the health and stability of each parish, even when the doors are not open on the weekend for Mass.

While some households are facing financial hardship themselves, others are may be searching for a way to continue supporting their parish. For those not currently utilizing online giving, the Office of Stewardship and Development has created a resource to connect parishioners with their parish’s giving site.
