CANTORIAL CANDIDATE SHABBATON THIS WEEKEND, FEBRUARY 19TH – 21ST

Due to the pandemic, candidates are restricted from traveling, so we will be relying on Zoom for the weekend. We're planning a weekend full of opportunities to meet the Cantor including having them lead Family Shabbat and our Reform and Conservative Shabbat services, joining us for SNL with a Q&A session, leading morning Minyan, as well as spending time with our religious school students and families.

If you have questions that you want included in the Q&A session, or have any feedback or comments, please email them to KolAmiCantorSearch@gmail.com.
More people to meet, more talent to share!
Pre-register for SNL: Synagogue Night Live.

We will start with Havdalah at 7:00 pm led by our Cantorial Candidate. Performing will be Jackie Osherow, Joseph and Rebecca Aguilar along with their niece, Ya'hel, and Art Sandack. Following the performances we'll hold a Q&A session to get to know the Cantor. You must register in order to access the Zoom link.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Purim starts the evening of Thursday, February 25th! On this festive holiday there are four Mitzvot that the Jewish people should fulfill: reading/listening to the Megillah Esther, sending Mishloach Manot, or gift baskets, the Seudah, or festive meal, and Matanot La'evyonim, giving to the poor. Kol Ami is providing and easy way to fulfill three of the four Mitzvot. See below for details!
On Thursday, February 25th Aimee and Eli will be telling the story of Purim followed by a game of Jeopardy and a costume show. On Friday, February 26th, Talia will be teaching you how to make hamantaschen! Get the recipe here. Please have steps 1 – 6 completed before the Zoom session and have the filling of your choice picked out. Links to come!
