CCSD93 strives to maximize the academic, social & emotional potential of each student.
Dear Friend of CCSD93,
CCSD93 Remote Learning Enters its Next Phase Monday, 3/23!
I hope you and your family remain healthy and safe at this time. Our staff members are thrilled to begin working with students again on Monday as our remote learning enters its next phase. Please look for more information from your child's teacher by 9 a.m. on Monday, and each normally scheduled school day thereafter, until we return to school.
As I've visited schools (while adhering to social distancing guidelines) and followed our staff members online, I've already seen our staff connect creatively and meaningfully with families. It is crucial that this continues, and I know it will for as long as we remain closed. While this situation can be overwhelming for all of us, I have been amazed by the outpouring of kindness, caring for one another, and humanity that it has brought about. We will get through this together.

I am excited to share that CCSD93 will expand its meal service to all students, with grab-and-go meal pickup available at each of the following locations from 10:30-noon each weekday moving forward.
  • Camden Apartment entrance in Bloomingdale
  • Discovery Park in Hanover Park
  • Heritage Presbyterian Church in Carol Stream
  • Peterson Avenue & Kuhn Road in Carol Stream
  • Quail Run Apartment complex in Carol Stream
  • Carol Stream Elementary School
  • Cloverdale Elementary School
  • Elsie Johnson Elementary School
  • Heritage Lakes Elementary School
  • Roy DeShane Elementary School
  • Western Trails Elementary School
  • Jay Stream Middle School
  • Stratford Middle School
If your child or you and your child do pick up a meal, please be sure to observe social distancing guidelines of remaining at least six feet from others. Visit www.ccsd93.com/meals for more information. Our families will receive reminders about this on Sunday evening as well.

Please also note that Kindergarten Registration, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 has of course been canceled. We will look for opportunities to reschedule this either online or eventually in person and will put out more information as we are able.

Be sure to continue to visit www.ccsd93.com/COVID19 for the latest updates on everything as we move forward, as well as health, internet, and additional food resources.

Despite these circumstances, we are doing everything we can to continue to meet our Mission of maximizing the academic, social, and emotional potential of each student. Thank you for your continued flexibility at this truly unprecedented time.

Sincerely,

David H. Hill, Ed.D.
