News from Chaplain Kiona Lookingbill & the CFF Commission Leadership
December 2nd, 2021
Dear Families,

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Happy First Advent! Last Sunday, families were invited to the Advent Service, so we did not have our regular CFF gatherings. Chaplain Kiona preached on getting ready for Christ's Second Coming. Following the services, we had several families join us in the Advent wreath making activity.

Please read the section below on our special events, especially regarding the Christmas Social this Saturday!

This coming Sunday, we will resume CFF lessons in the auditorium as usual. We will be showing the creche to the children so that they can get familiar with the concept of a creche service as we prepare for Christmas.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

The CFF Commission & Chaplain Kiona Lookingbill

This coming Saturday (December 4th, 3:00-4:30 PM) in All Saints' Hall we will be holding our Christmas Tree Lighting Social! There will be a variety of Christmas crafts for children and games to play! We will decorate the Christmas Tree and light it at 4 PM, and have hot cocoa with Christmas cookies! A Christmas movie will be shown and carols will be sung. Please bring a plate of individually wrapped cookies/treats to share.

On Christmas Eve, we will have our Creche Service in All Saints' Hall (ASH) at 3:00 PM. This is a wonderful way for our children to experience the events around Christ's birth. More slots have been made for readers. We cordially invite all our CFF children to participate!

Please sign up to volunteer once this semester (till the end of December 2021). As we move in, we'll need one teacher for Pre-K through 2nd Grade, one teacher for 3rd through 5th Grade, and one coordinator for Set Up and Activities. Lessons and activities are already developed, all you have to do is follow the script!
