Cambria County Library is opening June 22!
Cambria County Library will be open to the public beginning Monday, June 22,
Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Patrons will enter through the Main Street Entrance and exit through the doors connected to the Parking Lot.

The Summer Youth Cafe will offer Grab-N-Go Services on Mondays and Thursdays from 11:00 am - 11:20 am. Lunches are free for everyone 18 and younger.

Library Guidelines
The safety of our patrons and staff is our top priority. We've implemented the following restrictions to keep your visit as safe as possible.

  • A maximum of 50 people will be permitted in the library at one time.
  • Computer use will be limited to 1 hour per person. The number of computers available has been reduced to accommodate spacing between patrons.
  • We ask that patrons limit their time in the library as best possible.
  • The Storytime Theatre and Playroom will remain closed.
  • The Inclined to Read Bookstore will be opening soon but we are not accepting books or other donations at this time.
  • All items being returned should be placed in the dropbox outside the building before entering the library.

Practice social distancing and wear a mask in the building.
Please remember to wear a face mask and stay a safe distance (at least 6 feet) from other customers. Let’s all be as safe as possible.

On the go or don't have a mask? Curbside Pickup is still available for your convenience.
  • Monday - Friday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
  • Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Order items for pickup:
  • On the web: Visit our Online Catalog to search for items. Click “Place Hold” to request an item.
  • By phone: call (814) 536-5131, press Option 1 to reach our staff to order items.
Programs at the Library
All programming and events are being offered virtually, including six weeks of online activities for SummerQuest 2020. Visit our SummerQuest page to sign up!

We are offering various monthly virtual book clubs and our Death Café discussion group for adults.

Teen events include Teen Reading Lounge and weekly Open Mic Nights online.

New Children’s Storytimes are posted twice a week to the library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.
