November 30th is #GivingTuesday
Give the gift of public speaking!

On Tuesday beginning at 8am ET, Facebook will match all donations made to a US nonprofit's Facebook fundraiser on a first-come, first-served basis, up to $8 million in total matching gifts to nonprofits!

  • To have your donation matched, please click here to be taken to our Facebook fundraiser. (Note, the matching gift only applies to donations made on 11/30 starting at 8am ET, until the $8 million total is met)

  • If you wish to donate directly via the New Jersey Orators website, please click here. (Note, donations made via the NJO website will not be matched by Facebook, but are still greatly appreciated!)

Friends of New Jersey Orators,

In this season of giving thanks, I am reminded to pause and reflect with gratitude on the many blessings we have in life. On behalf of our founders and Board of Directors, I extend my sincere thanks to all of you -- the community who has supported NJO, and helped us continue to grow and serve others. Our annual giving campaign is underway, and below is an update on our progress toward our goal.

Tomorrow, November 30th, is Giving Tuesday! Started in 2012, #GivingTuesday inspires people to do good by supporting their favorite charities on the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Your generosity will make a difference in the lives of students by improving their communication skills and increasing their academic performance in language arts education. New Jersey Orators is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and your contribution is tax-deductible.

Help spread the word!
Why NJO?
Supporting our annual giving campaign assists in the following areas:

  • Membership subsidies for low-income students
  • Competition medals and monetary achievement awards for Orators
  • Reading literacy workshops and educational conferences for students
  • Civic engagement and college readiness workshops for students

Our mission remains clear and strong - to teach the art of public speaking, an appreciation for literature, reading and media arts literacy, civic engagement, college readiness and life skills to youth from 7 to 18 years of age in preparation for advanced education. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals and businesses like you, we wouldn't be able to deliver our oratorical programming and serve students each year.

Thank you in advance for your generous support of New Jersey Orators! We wish you and your loved ones a healthy & enjoyable holiday season!

Sincerely,
Eloise Samuels
