NAECR seeks to help early childhood researchers
form teams for NU Collaboration Initiative funding
The NU Collaboration Initiative is designed to help University of Nebraska researchers become more competitive for extramural funding by fostering meaningful collaborations that leverage the full intellectual capacity of faculty across all four NU campuses.
The opportunity includes funds for established cross-campus teams, as well as teams yet to be formed.
Collaboration is a vital part of early childhood research.
Researchable topics are not administratively predefined, but applications must be designed to strengthen the team’s future funding proposal.
NAECR has established a systemwide early childhood network that can be used to connect researchers who are interested in pursuing this opportunity.
If you are interested in NU Collaboration Initiative funding and would like to explore how your interests might align with a cross-campus team, complete the survey on the link below to indicate your interests and sign up for one of two Zoom meeting dates — Oct. 13, 9 -10 a.m.; or Oct. 19, 1 - 2 p.m. — for researchers to come together and discuss potential themes for collaborative proposals.
