Millwork install

Oval Office replica features stunning millwork

The New York Historical Society's "Meet the Presidents" installation includes a replica of the Oval Office. Mark Richey Woodworking was fortunate to do the woodwork for this remarkable project, specifically wainscot paneling, doors, windows, shelves and associated trim work.

We shared glimpses of this project before but professional photos, shown here, by Francis Dzikowski Photography provide a more detailed look at the incredible space.

One unique teleconference table

This approximately 24'w x 34'l teleconference table for a corporate client in Texas featured presenter monitors on the wide table end, power and data units routed into a beveled apron and a mix of Carrara marble, quartered paldao veneer, solid walnut and brushed stainless steel.

This one-of-a-kind Gensler design is unique for its shape and integrated technology that leaves the tabletop design uninterrupted.

Women's History Month

Recognizing Danielle Willey

Women's History Month celebrates women's contributions to history, culture and society. Danielle Willey is poised to make her mark as the most recent graduate of the Mark Richey Woodworking Apprenticeship Program. Danielle has spent a year and a half in the factory working on millwork and furniture projects as she completed her apprenticeship training. Now as a full fledged woodworker, her efforts will continue to make a mark on corporate, institutional and residential interiors and exteriors to be enjoyed, captured and celebrated as they become part of history, culture and society.

In addition to encouraging women in all aspects of the workplace, Mark Richey Woodworking and its WallGoldfinger Furniture division is minority and woman owned and M/WBE certified in New York City and Massachusetts.

(New!) Product lines

Doko tables, credenzas and waste receptacles

WallGoldfinger Furniture introduced an all new conference table, credenza and waste receptacle line in January. Called Doko, the line features table bases made from solid wood staves and anodized aluminum, credenzas with radiused corners and curved outer cabinet doors, and standalone waste receptacles that match.

Tables also integrate technology through tabletop boxes, removable base staves and even a sliding wire management column for ease in placing floor cores.

Work in progress

Open and ready to serve you

Among the many great projects underway in the factory is this re-creation of an ornate doorway for an institution. Other millwork projects and furniture projects from small cafe tables and collaborative tables to very large boardroom tables fill the factory floor.

Mark Richey Woodworking and WallGoldfinger Furniture have remained open and busy all during the past year. And while we're still limiting visitors, we couldn't be more proud of our team's hard work both for clients and to keep one another healthy and safe.
