The Rev. Denise Cawley
Holidays, family get-togethers, and celebrations all involve food. It is easy to come across happy food memories and to plan for joyous celebrations with food. Yet, for many, food loses its joy due to stress, comments, and other anxieties. Today, we explore food as a source of joy, ritual, and an opportunity for mindful presence. Join us in nourishing one another.

Middle School RE students in November learned who has historically occupied the land on which UUCW sits and are exploring ways to acknowledge & support Native Americans still in the region. They also chose, and will be introducing each week, this month’s “Split the Plate” partner organization, Islands of Brilliance. Way to go! | |
