Ultraviolet Sanitation Lights: San Luis Obispo Transit is using ultraviolet sanitation lights to clean buses and ensure the health and safety of passengers and drivers. View images
On May 11, New York MTA will begin using ultraviolet lamps to disinfect the agency’s trains, buses, and work areas. Read more
 
Innovation and Teamwork: In St. Louis, MetroBus and Metro Call-A-Ride operators are sewing fabric masks for colleagues. Additionally, they are producing and installing custom-designed polycarbonate shields for the MetroBus fleet. Read more
 
Providing More Space for Pedestrians: In Washington, DC, the District DOT is temporarily extending sidewalks in certain areas of the city to allow pedestrians enough space to practice social distancing. DC, among other cities, is implementing low-cost, quick-to-implement ways to widen sidewalks, open up roads to pedestrians, and establish additional bike lanes. Read more
