Good Morning Athanasius ,



First, I'd like to thank everyone who was present at last night's Past Grand Knights Dinner, especially the many incredible Grand Knights who have piloted our council over the years and decades. I'd like to especially thank Rich Trapani, PGK for his planning and execution of the event.

Secondly, congratulations to all our council's newly installed officers. As Grand Knight, I feel honored and humbled to represent such an incredible group of faithful Catholic men, and I look forward to leading you through the fraternal year. Next week, I hope you join us for a Christmas social meeting to celebrate the holidays and the end of the calendar year.

On Sunday, December 12, following the 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM Masses, we will be handing out six boxes worth of coats to boys and girls in the St. Joseph's Church basement. Please let me know if and when you will be able to assist!

Per our previous meetings, committees have been formed and committee chairmen chosen to lead us in several upcoming campaigns, events, and activities. Please see our Leadership page to view the committee list and check for updates.

Lastly, I ask that you please continue to keep Charles Giles in your prayers as he recovers from the coronavirus and underlying lung issues.

Orange County Life Chain

On Sunday, October 3, several of us stood in peaceful, prayerful public witness alongside our brothers and sisters at the Orange County Life Chain.

Larry Bedoksy, PGK

At our October meeting, our Worthy Treasurer, Larry Bedosky, PGK, was presented the John Paul the Great Council 486 Knight of the Month Award for September. The honor was bestowed in recognition of Larry's outstanding dedication and contributions toward the 40 Days for Life campaign, management of the council's annual budget, planning and execution of the 2021-22 Installation of Officers, and his commitment and endeavor in cleaning our parish center.

At our meeting on Thursday, September 9, Council 486 conducted an exemplification ceremony to confer the Third Degree on our newest and worthy brother, Tony Aloia. Congratulations and welcome, Tony!
