Information about the City's response to COVID19

On June 3rd,
The City of St. Catharines released its Framework for Recovery.
The Recovery Plan outlines the strategic efforts to reintroduce services; reopen facilities; and support both residents and businesses as we adapt to a new post-COVID-19 'norm'.
The city is mapping a path forward towards recovery with: - Four strategic stages - Economic Development and Tourism plans - Facilities and Amenities plans

Sustaining - Core, Midsized and Festival Expedited Funding Program -
The deadline for this program will be June 22, 2020. The application review process will be expedited. Please note that only organizations that received Sustaining Program funding in 2019 may apply to this program.

Suitcase In Point Theatre Company Opens Applications for Nest Residency
Launched in 2019, The Nest Residency offers new generation theatre artists in the Niagara Region a creative home for 12 months to gain exposure, training, and hands on experience. Artists are mentored and supported to build and develop new work, learning how to hone their creative process, the power of collaboration and what it takes to develop work within the Niagara market.
