The Forum is delighted to announce that our keynote speaker is Diane Taniguchi-Dennis. Diane is the CEO of Clean Water Services, a water resources management utility serving 600,000 customers in the Tualatin River Watershed. Similar in size and scope to our region, Clean Water Services customers hail from small cities, suburbs and rural areas west of Portland.
Serving on several boards, Diane is a recognized national leader in protecting and maximizing the efficiency of delivering water to a growing and diverse population. For instance, she has worked closely with the US Water Alliance to develop and promote the One Water movement, an integrated approach to managing finite water resources for long-term resilience and reliability. It’s been nine years since the Forum held our first H20 Breakfast. At that breakfast, Pat Mulroy reflected on her Nevada experience by saying quite simply “When we no longer had the luxury of battle, collaboration was our only alternative.”
Said Tonilee Hanson with the Idaho Washington Aquifer Collaborative, “As we cast our eyes on the Rathdrum Prairie, the Little Spokane and other areas, the growth we expected nine years ago is happening. Now, more than ever, we need to welcome innovative solutions and collaboration to protect our aquifer and deliver water.”
Please join us to learn about innovation and collaboration that works.
