In August, the Town reported that one of the Town's two remaining female collared bobcats (Bobcat 250 – 2-year-old female) was struck by a car and killed on August 10. She was born in The Preserve in April 2019 and was the offspring of Bobcat 600, who died on June 10 from rodenticide poisoning along with her four kittens. The animal was submitted for anticoagulant testing.
Yesterday, biologists received the results, which showed exposure to four different anticoagulant rodenticides, two of which were present at high levels similar to the other bobcats that died directly from rodenticide poisoning.
