Annual Meeting- A time to vote, reflect and be inspired by young talent

Dear Colleagues and Fellow EPICureans,

At last year's Annual Meeting we broke bread, raised glasses and were enchanted by Dean Emeritus Frank Wolf's interview with former Ambassador and Governor Madeline Kunin. We witnessed both the stateliness and the realities of aging. This year we will be disembodied - but still together - to watch an inspiring short video by young artists at Preston High School that should make our pixillated selves feel a bit better about the future.

EPIC members will be voting on the proposed Steering Committee and the revised Charter. We will have lively discussion about expanding activities. Social pods? Book groups? More physical classes besides our extraordinary yoga classes? Music lectures and concerts? Learning software for our musicians to play and sing together?

EPIC's exciting Fall lecture season includes lectures by Professors Simon Schama and James Shapiro, with online "door prizes" of their books! The coming year will require work and ingenuity on all our parts to conquer social isolation and to keep ourselves healthy in body and spirit. We hope to "see" you next week so we can continue this journey together.
