Palm Sunday ~ March 28, 2021
My Dear Parish Family,
We have arrived at the threshold of the holiest week of the year. The celebration of Palm Sunday recalls our Lords triumphant entry into Jerusalem amongst cheers and enthusiasm. How soon the crowds will turn on Our beloved Lord and His Passion will begin.
On Holy Thursday the Priesthood and the Eucharist are instituted. Our Lord gives us these gifts just before He is betrayed and we soon find ourselves on Calvary with Him on Good Friday. However, let us remain filled with hope even as we behold the wood of His cross.  All these events tell the glorious plan of our Lord who was in control the whole time. All of these trials He allowed Himself to endure out of love for you and me. His Precious Blood has been shed so as to wash us clean from our own sins.
Let us enter now through these gates together and enter the week that tells of a love beyond all telling.  Let us walk with Him and imitate his Sorrowful Mother by never leaving His side. Please pray for me as I will continue to pray for you.
