MDF Joins HDSA at 18th Annual Team Hope Walk

MDF founding director Dr. Rajeev Kumar and his team from the Rocky Mountain Movement Disorders Center joined HDSA Rocky Mountain Chapter President Molly Kokesh, members Madelynne Broyles and Greg Jarvis, and many others at the 18th Annual Heroes and Villains Team Hope 5K Walk and Run in Denver on Saturday, September 10.


Team Hope Walks raise funds and awareness in local communities to support the mission and services of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. Saturday's event raised more than $25,000! Click the video below to see the start of the Walk.

MDF Pilot Grant Update, Pt. 1


Daniel Paredes, Ph.D. is a Research Assistant Professor at the Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging at the University of Denver.

In 2020, Dr. Paredes was the first recipient of a Movement Disorders Foundation Pilot Grant to advance the development of new therapeutic approaches to target neuroplasticity and regeneration in aging and neurodegenerative disorders such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and Huntington's diseases.
