Small Steps, Bold Strides! Join the FORCE and volunteer at the 2022 LUNG FORCE Run/Walk on Saturday, October 15th in Wade Oval. Volunteers can assist with set up or break down, registration and T-shirt distribution, or as a Wayfinder and Cheerleader. Shifts available from 7 a.m.- 1 p.m. Light snacks, and beverages provided. T-shirt also provided, wear jeans/pants (no holes) and comfortable shoes. 

Thanksgiving Turkey Distributions-Help is needed for turkey distributions in the Collinwood and Ohio City Neighborhoods. Turkeys will be distributed at the Collinwood location on Tuesday, November 8th 3:30-6 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 16th 10:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. Both are outside distribution sites. Free parking. Closed-toe shoes required.  


Join the Magic of the North Pole-Showcase your talent! Seeking theatre and performing arts members for the upcoming North Pole Train Adventure program beginning

November 11 through December 21. On Train Volunteers are needed to create a festive atmosphere through personal interaction, song, and techniques to engage visitors. There is a 4-hour per night commitment and training is provided.

 

Food Center Pick-Up Driver-Are you free on Sundays? You would pick up baked goods from the Mayfield Heights Costco. Deliver and store food in the pantry located in Cleveland Heights. We are seeking people with a valid driver's license and the ability to lift a maximum of 15lbs. Pick up and drop off can happen anytime on Sundays from

9:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.


Homework Helper-Work with kindergarten-8th grade students who are attending the center for assistance with their homework, or for reading and educational activities. Willingness and ability to work with several students at a time, on any subject, while being adaptable to helping children using the methods by which they have been taught.

Volunteers are needed Monday- Thursday and offer two sessions, 4-5:15 p.m. and 

5:15-6:30 p.m. in Bedford, Brook Park, Brooklyn, Garfield Heights, Maple Heights,  

North Olmsted, Parma, Richmond Heights, South Euclid and Warrensville Heights.
