Weekly Director Letter 02/19/2021
Dear Parents,

This week our budding scientists in VPK learned about reflection. They used flashlights and mirrors and colored shapes to explore the concept. They also made beautiful kaleidoscope like images using the colored shapes reflected into the mirrors.

This week our oldest kids also celebrated the 100th day of school and participated in activities around that theme. Our garden is also growing great. I will do a walk through next week and post the video for you to see. The classes are doing a super job tending to their crops!

For those parents whose child will be four years old by September 1, please turn in your VPK certificate so that we can secure your tuition discount for the fall. If you don't have yours yet, go to www.vpkhelp.org to apply for it. This is for EVERY 4 year old in Florida regardless of income level. We currently only have 2 VPK open spaces for the fall in case you have friends who may be interested. We are also excited to announce that we will be opening a 3 hour only VPK. As the state pays for 3 hours, those 3 hours are completely free. If you know someone looking for only the 3 FREE VPK hours, please let them k now. We have 5 spaces left in that class.

Last week we sent home paper with those families returning for Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade. If you have not done so, please return that paper so that we can secure your space. We currently have no spaces left for Kindergarten or First Grade but we do have 2 openings for second grade in case you know someone who may be interested.

Please know that it is our pleasure to serve your family. If you need anything I hope you never hesitate to ask. We also strive for excellence so if you think of anything we can do to serve you better, please never hesitate to ask.

Have a great weekend!
