Connecting with St. Crispin's

From the Interim Directors,

                             Alton and Joy Belew

We are excited that St. Crispin's will host the 85th Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma on October 7th-8th!  We look forward to serving the Lay and Clergy delegates during this special time.

The St. Crispin's staff works hard week in and week out to repair, improve, prepare and serve our guests.  Please pray for and when you get a chance, say thanks to the following people:

Accommodations Staff: Heidi Little, Manager; Laurie Lewis, Cara Smith and Stephanie Walters

Food Service Staff: Amber Martin, Manager; Tori Helton, Bryson Martin, Kota Helton

Guest Experience/Marketing Staff: Joy Belew, Director; Cassidy Carter, and Zac Cline

Operations/Maintenance Staff: Josh Roberson, Director; Thomas Wind, Manager; Joey Oxley, and Migel Vasquez

Thank you for your faithfulness as you work unto the Lord!

The guests are already enjoying the generosity of those who have given rockers thus far! There are several more that have indicated they will give.

Those who have given thus far are:

  • Christ Church, Tulsa
  • Michael and Suzanne Shepherd in honor of Megan Shepherd and her years at St. Crispin's
  • St. Crispin's Staff

Would your family, your church, or your Summer Camp Alumni group consider donating $250 to provide one of these rockers?

You can designate a person, church or family to honor or memorialize, which will be engraved on a bronze plaque.

Many of you have been friends of St. Crispin's for many years. Some of you may have only recently become aware of what a wonderful place and ministry this is.

"Friends of St. Crispin's" is a way to provide ongoing support to St. Crispin's by:

  • Praying regularly for needs, campers, guests and staff.
  • Sharing and advocating for St. Crispin's by telling others about this special place.
  • Helping by volunteering as needs arise and time allows.
  • Giving financially. Currently, there are some pressing operational needs. As these needs are met, we're hopeful that all gifts can go toward program and facility improvements. Would you pray and consider a monthly gift? This would make such a big difference in the long term ministry of St. Crispin's!

Please pray often, share the story and give. Please see "opportunities for support" in this newsletter. Call or email us to find out more about the opportunities.

The training will be no cost to you as long as you commit to serving at least three days on the course in the coming year.
