K2 Residential Solutions
Featured Employee:
Dylan Sielaff
VP of Construction
|
Whether he is coaching his daughter’s lacrosse team, taking his lovely wife out to try a new restaurant or working on his ‘stache’, Dylan seems to stay plenty busy. As the days get warmer, you might also find Dylan outside taking of care of his yard and gardening or even spending time at his family cabin in Trinidad. No matter what Dylan may be up to, his work life and family life balance is important to him.

When asked what his key ingredients to success are, Dylan says “cultivating
meaningful relationships with subcontractors, tradesmen, owners and design professionals. And showing respect for all colleagues and demonstrating a professional attitude… Also, getting to bed by 10pm sharp”. In the past year that Dylan has worked for K2, we have witnessed first-hand his approach to his relationships, his construction process preparedness, and his high standards and work ethic. K2 is lucky to have Dylan as a member of our team and we are looking forward to continued successes together with Dylan.

Special Treats Cards, Inc. showing off their hard work

Many of you have received a handmade card from K2 Residential Solutions, however, you probably don't know the back story of these cards and how they were made. For the past few years, K2 has developed a very meaningful relationship with a special group that has made these cards for us.
|
|
Special Treats Cards, Inc. empowers adults with disabilities to be creative by celebrating the unique artistic eyes and hearts of its participants. The vision for this nonprofit came to be after it's founder, Robin Vaiana, was searching for a fulfilling outlet for her daughter Josie upon graduating high school and moving to Denver. Four years later, Josie and eight other amazing adults with various disabilities now come together each week to create beautiful handmade cards, coasters, gift card holders, and other paper products.
Their work perfectly captures the group’s motto— “Creativity Without Limits,” and has become a loving and supportive community all its own.

Their work perfectly captures the group’s motto— “Creativity Without Limits,” and has become a loving and supportive community all its own. Outside of its weekly gatherings, Special Treats Cards also performs several outreaches— running an art group at Stepping Stone Support Center and as a volunteer job site for the transition program at Dakota Ridge High School.
