Length of time business has been operating. 19 wonderful years!

Description of Business: Seniors Real Estate Specialist

Your Business Mission Statement: To make the stressful move into senior living easier for my clients and their families.

What’s Your Why? I can’t (and don’t want to) be everything to all people. So I decided to specialize my business to the seniors in our community. They need a more personalized approach to the home sale process.

What sets your business apart from others? Attention to detail sounds trite, but I really do oversee all parts of the transaction – from moving to repairs to staging to photos to contract to settlement - myself. It’s important to be sure each step of the process is handled in the way that is best for each family. I know agents who brag about how little work they do after they sign a listing agreement! That’s not how I operate.

What are some of the personal rewards that come from your business? I know that I’m helping people through a difficult time in their lives. This move, out of the home they’ve lived in for decades, is really hard. Just yesterday a client said, ‘I feel like you’re part of the family!’

How long have you been a chamber member? Two years

What benefits have you experienced with your chamber membership? I love the networking events, and how friendly everyone is. Really looking forward to seeing everyone in person again!

Do you offer any discounts? Please specify: I would be happy to offer a quarter of a percent discount on my home sale services to the parents of Chamber members.
Executive Director's Message
Greetings,

The third installment of the Crofton Chamber Podcast can be found on our Facebook page. Each interview is conducted by two of our board members, Adam Pohl, along with a rotating co-host, and focuses on a different Crofton Chamber member. Listen to the short interview and get to know your fellow Chamber members.

Our next blood drive is next week. Please consider donating or sharing the link with someone you know who may be interested. https://bit.ly/2XSUUdv

Sponsorship opportunities for both member-focused events and community-focused events are still available. We can work together to ensure you are gaining the type of exposure for your business or organization you desire to help you grow. We are currently looking for sponsors for the Lunch & Learn at the end of this month and our Community Shred Event in April. Meetings to discuss these opportunities can either be in-person at our chamber office or by phone. Please email liz@croftonchamber.com to schedule.

All the best,

Liz Hostetler
