Hello, FCS Division Members! |
As your new ACTE Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Vice President, I am excited to work with and for you to represent FCS on the national level. Many of you may be getting ready for a new school year or are already marching your way with FCS students eager to learn more about life, careers and leadership. Others may be working in a new career field, are retired or are part of our business and industry partnerships, regardless of where you are, thank you for your support and membership in the Family and Consumer Sciences Division.
The FCS Division newsletter is one of the main ways that I will communicate with you. The newsletter will highlight a variety of topics related to FCS, ACTE and career and technical education (CTE). I encourage you to read your way through all of the great opportunities and articles in each issue.
Please be sure to check out the ACTE CareerTech VISION 2022 — it is “the premier gathering of CTE professionals.” The keynote speakers, CareerTech Expo and 100s of workshop offerings are bound to be the talk of 2022 and 2023! Join me and your colleagues in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nov. 30-Dec. 3.

Thank you again for your support, and I look forward to helping FCS continue to be an outstanding division.
