The guest for this week's Talking with TAD is Glenn McCall, RNC National Committeeman for South Carolina who is also currently serving with me as our Co-Chair of the Committee on Arrangements. I asked him to join me because he has a wealth of experience with RNC rules and the National Convention process. Boy could we use the expertise because this week has been a whirlwind!
RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced less than 48 hrs ago that the National Convention is moving to Jacksonville, Florida! As Chair of the Committee on Arrangements, responsible for planning the RNC convention, I can assure you that this was not a decision made lightly. Unfortunately the Democrat Governor of North Carolina forced our hand. But Charlotte's loss is Jacksonville's gain and we are going to have an amazing time while nominating Donald Trump and ushering in his second term!
Glenn and I discuss the big news, how it's all going to work logistically and what it means for the rules, platform and nomination process. Hope you enjoy!
