April Newsletter 2020
President’s Message:
To Our Members During this Time of Uncertainty
I hope this note finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. The COVID-19 pandemic is truly novel, and continues to impact our lives, our communities, and our nation in ways none of us could have ever imagined.

I wanted to take a moment to send another update about Impact 100 and share with you some of the decisions we have recently made, and also some assurance that we are focused on our mission to empower each other, the nonprofits we serve, and our community during this time of crisis.

Impact 100 Receives the Philanos' 2020 Spotlight Award
Philanos, the national network of women’s collective giving grantmaking organizations, held its 2020 conference in Seattle, WA from February 23-25. At the conference, Impact 100 received the Spotlight Award for their transformational, high impact grant to May We Help. This grant enabled greater inclusion and equity for thousands of people with disabilities, dramatically changing their lives and radiating profound benefits for their families, supporters and communities.

Nonprofit Partner Responses to COVID-19
A few of our fantastic board members took it upon themselves to reach out to every one of Impact 100’s nonprofit partners (any nonprofit awarded a grant in the last 3 years) to create as comprehensive a list as possible of responses our partners are taking in the wake of this crisis.

There is STILL Time to Join a Committee!
We've pushed the start of our grant review process to the week of April 13th (and they'll be held virtually!) Any active Impact 100 member can join a Focus Area Committee. It's not too late to join!!

Our Greater Cincinnati COVID-19 Local Rapid Response Funds
One of our core values is to provide philanthropic education to our members. We would be remiss in delivering on our values if we did not update our members on resources & responses to the COVID-19 pandemic within our community.
