The Annual Fund Campaign is our primary opportunity for school families to participate in the continued success of our school by helping to bridge the gap left by state and local funding. This fund supports existing educational programs, new curriculum development, improves facilities, and supports essential needs of Socrates Academy.
 
Changes to Attendance Sign Ins

Beginning on Monday, March 30th, students will only need to sign in through the attendance form 1 day during the week to get credit for the entire week. We are doing all we can to make this challenging time easier for everyone.

  • It does not matter what day you sign in
  • The week begins on Sunday
  • The week ends Saturday at midnight
Security and Online Conferencing Apps

We are so thankful that ZOOM and many other virtual conferencing apps have made their platforms free for use during this time. We want all of our families to know that we are taking precautions to ensure your children are in a safe whether we are in a classroom or a video conference.

We know many of you are using these platforms at home, so we encourage you to take a minute to review safety settings of any online conferencing software you or your child is using to ensure your conversations remain private. We've provided a short list here, for ease of access.

Spiritwear Orders

With school being closed, we must delay the delivery of all Spirit Wear orders placed during our Winter sale. Orders have been printed and will be delivered to scholars upon our return of school. To All Ellinomatheia Exam 2020 Candidates

Amid the Coronavirus pandemic, registration for the Ellinomatheia Exam has been interrupted, and the official Greek Language Exam planned for May 2020 has been postponed until further notice.
Checks for registration fees that candidates have already submitted with their applications have not been cashed yet, waiting for the new registration and exam dates be announced by the Center for the Greek Language of the Greek Ministry of Education.
We will continue keeping you informed and our apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation may have caused.
