If you are planning a group meeting or activity at the church, please contact Re-Opening Team Chair, Ruth Thompson.
Sanctuary is Open on Sunday
Trillium has opened the sanctuary on Sunday morning for worshipers. The 10:30 worship service will continue to be available on-line. For those who wish to stay home you can access the service by internet or by phone. A youth program is also available on-line.
The Re-Opening Team is committed to making the worship experience in the sanctuary as safe as possible and asks for your cooperation if you attend. Here is what you need to know:
  • The on-line worship service will be shown on the projection screen. Mark will be at the church but other worship leaders will continue be on-line (not in the church).
  • Volunteer greeters and ushers will be present to assist you to follow safety protocols. Attendance will be taken.
  • A mask must be worn at all times and must cover the nose and mouth. Those who arrive without a mask will be provided with one.
  • If you cannot wear a mask for medical reasons you will be seated in a designated distanced seating area.
  • You will be asked to maintain 2 metres (6 foot) distance from those not in your family group. Ushers will seat you at a safe distance from others.
  • Once you are seated, please remain there until the end of the service. Greet people from a safe distance (2 metres).
  • High touch surfaces (door handles, washrooms, pews) will be sanitized before the service.
  • Singing is a high-risk activity and is not recommended. Please hum or clap along to songs.
  • There is no nursery care for infants and toddlers.
  •  Coffee and fellowship will not be offered in the church. You may visit with others outside the building before or after the service.
  • Please stay home if you feel unwell or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

It is important to remember in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs that our needs are organized on the basis of necessity not importance. For Jesus, it is necessity that makes our connection with God first. Every other need finds its proper place when our connection with God is strong. Without this connection all our other needs become distorted. Our basic physiological needs (body needs) are no different. Join Mark as he reflects on the final step in the journey through the upside down pyramid of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.
Special Thanksgiving Offering
Trillium’s Social Concerns & Outreach Team, with the approval of Church Council, asks those of you who are able, to consider the following designations for this year’s Special Thanksgiving Offering:
1.    Trillium’s Life and Work: Roof Fund
As you know we repaired a second roof this summer and must repay this money in the coming year. We would ask that you clearly indicate Roof Fund when submitting your donation for the Life & Work of Trillium.
2.    Local Outreach: Life-Line to Lebanon
Please read the information about this outreach initiative that we have planned with Saint Luke’s, in order to help Georges’ and Silva’s families in Lebanon.
If you are able to make a donation to the Outreach portion of our Special Thanksgiving Offering, please clearly indicate that your donation is for Life-Line to Lebanon.

There will be envelopes available on the table at the ramp entrance to the church if you wish to use one.
