Annual Staff Chili Lunch Fri, Dec 16th
We'll be warming up a winter wonderland with the annual chili lunch on December 16th. This is our last teacher appreciation event of 2021, and we want to go out with an (arctic) BLAST! We're going to need a lot of help with crock pots of HOT chili, desserts, and fixin's to pull this one off. Please review the available slots and click to sign up.

To celebrate the end of the year and their wonderful contributions to our community, and we need A LOT of help. We weren't able to pull this off last year due to Covid restrictions, and it was a greatly missed event. Please check the volunteer list and see if you can help! Thank you!
notMYkid Mental Health Zoom Presentation Today
Wednesday, Dec 8th, 6pm
Just wanted to make you aware of a VIRTUAL parent presentation from notMYkid addressing teen mental health. In this presentation you will be provided an understanding of influences on mental health, the warning signs of stress, anxiety, depression AND a plan on how to talk about these issues with family and loved ones.

SPC December General Meeting Today

We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our December General Meeting on Wednesday, December 8 @ 6:00 PM at the Mohave District Annex. Shannon Cronn, SUSD Director of Support Services & Matt Lins, SUSD Support Services Coordinator will be speaking about social emotional learning (SEL) and the programs utilized in SUSD. What is the Arcadia Snowstorm?
Instead of individual gifts to teachers and staff this year, we ask that you contribute
to one collective, monetary gift that will be equally divided, packaged festively and
distributed to the faculty this holiday season!

Why do Snowstorm?
It’s a way to show our teachers we appreciate the work they do every day. We can
join together to help them pay for family gifts, travel for holiday visits and more.

How can you Donate?
Instead of individual gifts, we ask you to contribute to the monetary gift fund.

CAP & GOWN UPDATE
Please see the attached flyer from Jostens regarding the final deadline, which is December 15, 2021, to order your Cap & Gown. This is the final deadline for orders to be considered on time. Orders placed AFTER December 15th are considered late which makes it difficult for Jostens to ensure that the correct COLORS and SIZES will be available for students.  If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Pinto at AHS or Jostens directly.
