Church-Wide Events
Petra Church , in keeping with Governor Wolf’s extended stay-at-home order, will remain closed until at least April 30, and all on-campus groups and activities will be cancelled until then.
 
Until further notice, we will continue to stream our worship services on Sundays. You can connect to the livestream at 9 or 11 a.m. through the Petra App, Facebook, or our website at www.petra.church/live . If you experience disruption with the service using one of these sources, please try another. Facebook is the most stable. Note that the service in its entirety will be available for viewing on the Petra App and our website later in the day on Sunday.
 
 Both our Good Friday and Easter Sunday Services will be streamed.
 
The church office will remain open from Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the pastors, staff, and counselors will be available as needed.

This Sunday - Senior Pastor Lester Zimmerman will share a Palm Sunday message called "When Hard Times Come."

Petra Food Bank - We have a Food Bank for Petra attenders in case of emergency. The next regular distribution is set for Wednesday and Thursday, April 8 and 9. Food Bank participants should call the Church Office with the number of people in their family by Monday afternoon .
 
Prayer Ministry - If you would like to submit a prayer request or schedule a prayer time over the phone with a Petra prayer minister, you can do that by visiting petra.church/prayer .
 
Online Prayer Together - Join us on Saturday evenings from 8 to 9 p.m. as we pray together from where we are through an online meeting platform called Zoom. Give it a try by clicking here on Saturday evening.

Easter Weekend
Good Friday Service - “Jesus Reigns” - To Be Streamed - Join us next Friday, April 10, for a unique online service which will include worship, Scripture, and a time of communion with your family. (Remember to get your bread and juice ready before the service starts.) It’s going to be a special time by which to remember our Lord's sacrifice for us!
Easter Sunday Services - “Jesus Reigns Over All” - To Be Streamed - Our Easter Sunday Services on April 12 will include songs of celebration, powerful testimonies, and a dynamic message from Pastor Brian Coles. We hope you and your whole family will join us from where you are!

Couples' Night Out , set for April 25, has been cancelled.
Petra Men
7 Challenges Men Encounter , a course that was to begin April 14, has been postponed until the summer term.
Student Ministries
Mulch Fundraiser - The sale of mulch with delivery on Saturday, April 18, is still on , but spreading will not be provided this month. The cost of this premium black or brown mulch is $45 a yard, with free delivery. The proceeds will go toward the High School mission trips this summer. Purchase mulch online by Monday , April 13. Kingdom Kids

Global Missions
Mission Prayer Focus - Pray for Brad and Lori Ortenzi , Petra missionaries serving with ZOE International, helping to combat human trafficking around the world. Pray for God’s leading and anointing as they serve as Eastern USA Regional Director and Coordinator for ZOE. Pray for creative strategies and provision for carrying out their work and ministry in the midst of the COVID-19 restrictions.
