Setting up your Zoom Meetings

As mentioned in last month's IT News and Notes, the district has purchased Zoom licenses for all staff members. There is a specific way that you need to log onto Zoom in order to make sure you have transitioned your account to this district license. We have created a short video so you can review this process. We have also listed the initial steps below.

Steps that need to be followed:

Go to Clever and sign in with your Google credentials.
Click on the Zoom icon, which is blue with a camera. (This is a very important step as it connects your account with our district account.)
Three things could happen when you click on the Zoom icon:

You will go right to to the Zoom dashboard if you have already gone through Zoom to connect your account. You are ready to schedule meetings.
If you have not connected your account, you will see a message about connecting with NeoNet. You want to accept this and move through this process until you get to the Zoom dashboard.
If you receive an error message, please email Mr. Woodworth and he will connect your account.

Click on Schedule Meeting on the Zoom Dashboard.

Mentor Teachers Group in Schoology

Last year we started to assemble resources to support teachers with different topics into a Group found in Schoology. To gain access to all of these resources, follow these steps:

Login into Clever and click on the Schoology icon.
Once in Schoology, click on Groups in the top menu.
Select the Mentor Teachers Group.
In the left menu under Members, select Resources.

Once you are in the Resource folder you will find individual folders for Remote Learning, High Quality Assessments, The Ohio Blended Collaborative, 20 Days of Technology, Schoology Tips and Tricks and so much more. We will continue to add resources to this folder. If you have a resource that you think would benefit the other teachers in the district, please share this with your instructional coach and they can add it into the Mentor Resource Group.
