Dear EAMS Students and Families,
Next week is Red Ribbon Week at EAMS! We are looking forward to an exciting, spirited week that brings awareness to not only being “drug-free,” but also to living a healthy lifestyle and making positive choices.
This week our Monday lesson focused on Goal-Setting in an academic setting. This was the first of four consecutive lessons on the topic, knowing that a goal is only the first step in the process. Our goal-monitoring sheet and video from the lesson can be found here. Today, our Olweus time was used to complete our school-wide survey on bullying. We use this information to review our current curriculum and make adjustments across the building, tailored to our students’ needs.
As weather continues to become colder, more rainy, and eventually snowier, we know that will increase the amount of students who are dropped off at school. For the safety of everyone within the circle, on Market Street, and on HWY 11, please continue a) to use the auxiliary lot and b) pull up in the circle.
As items come up that you have questions or concerns about, please do not hesitate to contact me, and have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Ryan McBurney
Principal
