Fifth Episcopal District, CME Church

Bishop Teresa Jefferson-Snorton, Presiding Prelate

AN ECUMENICAL CALL TO SHOW UNITY

Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday are highlights of the Christian Year. A few short weeks ago, it would have been unthinkable that we would be talking about "not" gathering in the church sanctuaries across the world on these days of remembrance and celebration!

But that is our reality and we pray that you have a church home to worship with electronically during this Holy Week and on April 12, 2020  Resurrection Sunday (also known as Easter).
(A directory of CME Churches can be found at

Let us also work together to show our UNITY in the faith to the world by doing the worship-at-home activities prepared by jointly by the National Council of Churches (NCC), Churches Uniting in Christ (CUIC) and Christian Churches Together (CCT).  The CME Church is a member of the first two organizations. Bishop Teresa Jefferson-Snorton is Vice-Chair of the Board for NCC and President of CUIC!
